Dr. Anna Khin Khin Kyawt
Founder & President
Dr. Khin Khin Kyawt is the founder and owner of SAIL Marketing & Communications. She is credited with the actual creation of Myanmar’s advertising industry. From the first TV commercials, billboards, national promotion teams to the first National Beauty pageant, Dr. Khin Khin Kyawt led the way. She has over 20 years of advertising, product launch, research, marketing and sales experience for consumer and health products. For consumer products she is also recognized for strong national insight and an expert in product promotions and launch of Myanmar’s most successful brands for lasting national impact. With a keen sense of knowledge value, she performed the country's first media survey research for McCann Erickson – the largest global ad agency at the time – as her agency in Myanmar was then selected with a prestigious JV with McCann-Erickson in 1996.
Prior to establishing SAIL, she was the first Myanmar trader "in the pit" at the Singapore International Stock Exchange (SIMEX). Earlier, Dr. Khin Khin Kyawt was the first country representative for Astra Zeneca (ICI) Pharmaceuticals UK, being one of the first importers and distributors for western pharmaceuticals. Even earlier, in 1984, she imported the first color photographic development machines to Myanmar along with the Kodak’s blood analyzer for hospitals and then became the sole importer and distributor for Kodak film and chemicals. As a proud Myanmar national, she was a national champion high diver and the top 18th student in the nation, she was rewarded with a full scholarship to medical school.

Media Director
Zia is our Media Director and Head of Media with overall responsibility for media business. He is leading SAIL’s future-forward media planning & buying department, developing and exploring new models to fuel growth, while providing strategies that are stimulating, innovative and accountable.Zia has over 8 years’ experience in media and advertising roles. Prior to SAIL he was working for GREY Group Dhaka as a Senior Media Planner and was in charge of Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Media Business in Bangladesh for 3 years and achieved outstanding ROI for consecutive years. He was also the key person responsible for all Digital Media Accounts of GREY Dhaka during his time.He started his career during studies in business correspondence/editorial roles thus gaining his experience on the Media Vendor business side.In a career spanning of over 8 years in Media Zia has worked with clients like Turkish Airlines, Hemas Consumer Brands, Johnson & Johnson, BRAC, Symphony Mobile, Vasmol, International Cricket Council, PepsiCo, SC Johnson, Ooredoo, Ovaltine to name a few.

Activation and POS managerNyan has been with SAIL since 1995 when we started nationwide merchandising activation with 10 vans for Unilever products till 2001. He also is highly experienced in sourcing suppliers for POS materials , quality control and ensuring delivery to POS shops.
Phue Pwint Han
Activation managerPhue Pwint has started her career with SAIL since 1997 as merchandising activation team leader and has travelled throughout the country with her team . She left in 2001 when Unilever left the country since Western trade embargo imposed to Myanmar. She came back to join her mother company in 2008 to lead the activation and door to door sales of Sau Kyaw Herbal medicine nationwide. Since then she is in charge of all activation projects for various clients.
